I've ranted and raved recently about gas prices and taxes on gasoline. I don't know what you might be paying for gasoline, but I see a pretty wide range of prices in my average day.
I started my 85 mile one-way commute this morning and the first gas station I passed was selling Regular Unleaded for $2.469 per gallon. The last gas station I passed was priced at $2.699 per gallon. I saw every imagineable price in between.
How can it be that the same product -- in many cases from the same oil company -- can have such a large range of prices? Who is determining these prices for the oil companies, and what criteria do they use? It's outrageous!
Just wanted to share a little frustration.
